Yhdysvalloissa Patrick Spohrerin Monkey With A Gun (MWAG)-tuotantoyhtiö siirtyy uusille yrittäjille. Firman nimi ei taida nykypeinttaajille sillä lailla kalskahtaa tutulta, mutta yrityksen legendaarinen Push-videodokumentti toivottavasti sentään herättää jotain tuntemuksia . Yhdysvalloissa vuoden 1999 kisakuvioista kuvattu video teki pro-pelaajia tutuksi ja sen voinee sanoa aloittaneen uudenlaisten paintball-tuotantojen aallon.

Tuolloin videoiden katselu ei vielä sujunut netissä, joten videoita tehtiin luonnostaan minimaalinen määrä nykyaikaan nähden ja niiden leviäminen DVD-levyillä oli tietysti hitaampaa. Mutta sitten kun jotain merkittävää saatiin aikaan, niin sitä sitten katsottiin moneen kertaan ja sen myös näkivät lähes kaikki.
Patrick Spohrerin tiedote:

Hey guys I want to announce something very exciting. A couple guys who I think deserve mention are going to carry-on the monkey with a gun name into the future producing videos and soft goods. Let’s give them a warm welcome and here’s a little bit of background on who they are.

Anthony McClure and Nathaniel Kirkpatrick. Both grew up playing tournament paintball. Traveled across the US with team NWA United based out of Arkansas with people we call our brothers still to this day. Started filming local tournaments and practices at first at Wild World Paintball which jump started our filming journey. We grew up watching MWAG videos and films. Loved them so much we had started our own separate media companies "Dunked On Media" and "Native Films." Worked together on many videos and always wanted to merge together under a great name. Finally got in contact with MWAG and the stars aligned. We want to just do our part and give back to the community what MWAG did for us. We have said it many times before we wouldn't be the people we are today without paintball and the MWAG videos. Its our turn to give back to the players and do something great for them like MWAG did for us.

Aikamoiset saappaathan herroilla on täytettävänä, mutta vanhan nimen alle siirtymisen takana lienee vakaa aikomus myös saada aikaan jotain yhtä merkittävää, joten jäädään odottelemaan .
